Each year, veterinarians and program leaders working with orangutans in Indonesia and Malaysia come together for learning opportunities and to share ideas and best practices for managing wild orangutans in their range countries.  The group, called the Orangutan Veterinary Advisory Group (OVAG), is made possible through the Orangutan Conservancy as well as funding from several zoos.
